BUILDING Maitland’s future together

“Maitland is more than just a city - it’s home. My wife and I chose to raise our family here because it’s a wonderful place for kids and families to thrive. Like you, we care about safe neighborhoods and schools, less traffic, affordable taxes, and great parks and services. I’m running for City Council to make sure Maitland stays that way - vibrant, welcoming, and ready for the next generation.”

“My focus is on what matters most to our community: smart growth, safer streets, easier ways to get around, fair taxes, and great parks and youth sports programs. I’m also committed to making City Hall a place that truly listens and works with you - because your voice should always be heard.”

MEET ALEX

Alex is part of a generation building families, growing careers, and planning for the future. He and his wife chose Maitland because it has everything a great community should - safe neighborhoods, welcoming people, and opportunities for everyone.

As parents of two school-age kids, they know how much the quality of our schools, streets, parks, and neighborhoods matters every single day. Alex wants Maitland to stay a place where families thrive - not just now, but for decades to come.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Alex works in transportation planning and engineering, helping communities across Florida and beyond make smarter, safer decisions for the long term. He’s served on advisory boards at every level - local, state, and national - covering parks and recreation, community redevelopment, and transportation research. His experience spans both public and private sectors, giving him a balanced perspective he’ll bring to Maitland.

A proud UCF graduate, Alex earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Public Administration with a focus on regional planning and public policy. He also sharpened his leadership skills through Rollins College’s Crummer Graduate School of Business Management Program.

WHY ALEX IS RUNNING

Local government shapes our daily lives - how our neighborhoods feel, how we move, how we stay safe, and how we plan for the future. Maitland needs leaders who bring fresh ideas, listen to residents, and understand the challenges families face today.

Our community is changing, and we need representation that understands those changes firsthand. Alex is running to bring a new perspective to City Hall - one that values innovation, respects your voice, and makes decisions based on transparency, data, and long-term planning.

PRIORITIES

Maitland deserves leaders who are approachable, collaborative, and ready to plan for the future. Alex is committed to listening to you, engaging with families, and making decisions that move our city forward - while preserving what makes Maitland unique. Together, we can create a vibrant, family-focused future that respects our history and welcomes the fresh ideas needed for the years ahead.

My priorities include:

1

RESPONSIBLE GROWTH & NEIGHBORHOOD CHARACTER

Central Florida is growing. But growth should never come at the expense of what makes our city special. Alex supports smart, responsible development that fits our community’s vision, protects our neighborhoods, and improves quality of life for everyone. As Maitland evolves, Alex will work to create spaces where families, seniors, young professionals, and local businesses can thrive together. He’ll champion policies that preserve green space, parks, and the unique character that makes Maitland feel like home.

2

SAFER STREETS & BETTER MOBILITY

Everyone deserves to feel safe getting around - whether walking, biking, or driving. Alex will push for smart, practical transportation solutions that slow traffic, ease congestion, and improve sidewalks and bike paths so our streets work for everyone. With years of experience in transportation planning, Alex knows how to turn these challenges into real, lasting improvements for Maitland

3

PUBLIC SAFETY & QUALITY CITY SERVICES

A strong Maitland starts with reliable, high-quality public services. Alex will be a strong advocate for our police, fire, parks, and city operations - making sure they have the tools and resources to keep our community safe and responsive. But safety is just one part of a thriving city. Strong communities are built on connection - neighbors coming together through events, shared spaces, and amenities that make life better. Alex will support continued investment in the programs and places that bring people together and strengthen our sense of community.

4

FISCAL TRANSPARENCY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Maitland families deserve a city that spends wisely and plans for the future. Alex will make transparency a priority, ensuring residents know how every dollar is invested. He’ll focus on long-term planning and smart investments that strengthen our community -while keeping budgets responsible and taxes affordable.
